MICRONEEDLING

Our FDA approved microneedling pen is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a dermapen, a medical device that contains multiple fine needles, to create microchannels in the skin for stimulating collagen production. This leads to overall improvement in all areas of the skin. Microneedling dramatically reduces acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, reduces enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, and sunspots. You will see results after one treatment, but we usually recommend a series of three to six treatments one month apart for optimal results.

Pre Treatment

Before coming in for microneedling you will need to have stopped using all AHA & BHA acids, RETINOL, Benzol Peroxide, and any other active ingredients for 3 days.

Does it hurt?

There is some discomfort but its completely tolerable since we use a strong numbing agent. There is no downtime from microneedling but you will be red (like a sunburn) for 48-72 hours after the treatment.

After care is that for the first 24 hours you don’t use anything except for a very gentle face wash and hyaluronic acid serum after your skin is dry. For 2 weeks, be extra cautious in the sun and wear SPF and a hat. After the first day you can start using moisturizer, hyaluronic acid, and SPF. For the entire week you must avoid all AHA & BHA acids, retinols, vitamin C serums, and all active ingredients. You may resume your normal skin routine after 7 days.

Don’t do microneedling if you:

• Are pregnant.
• Have a blood clotting issue.
• Are diabetic.
• Have chronic Eczema on the face.
• Have very inflamed cystic acne all over the face.
